Registration, rankings and rules in one front-end
A fully worked-out platform for Belgian Beach Volley and Volley Vlaanderen, built in Django and React, ready to go live.
The ask
Registering was laborious: not user-friendly, not mobile-friendly, and rankings, tournaments and rules were hard to follow.
What we built
Design in Figma, a full backend in Django and a front-end in React. Server-side cookies for tracking and a public API. The platform will be integrated with VolleySpike, the successor of Volleyadmin.
What it brought
Ready for launch together with Volley Vlaanderen and Belgian Beach Volley: registration, tournaments, rankings and rules in one front-end, on mobile too.
What the client says
I have to say I am pleasantly surprised by what Benjamin has made. In look & feel as well as ease of use this is a long way ahead of what we had. You can also tell he thought it through from the beach volleyball side and from the user's, and I think that is really great!
Dries KoekelkorenManager Beach Volleyball & Digitalisation, Volley Vlaanderen

At Ace, a passion for the sport goes together with a nose for processes. They quickly see where something can be better or simpler, and turn it into something that works.
