What we did, step by step
Parents who founded a club
Rembert Beach was founded by parents whose children play volleyball at Rembert Torhout Heren or at VKT Torhout, the women's club. In January 2022, with Lore and Liesbet Werbrouck and Rebekka Celis as the driving forces, they launched a beach volleyball club for the off-season, with a clear goal: putting beach volleyball in West Flanders on the map. By April that year, four permanent courts lay in the sand next to the municipal sports hall.
Ace loves volleyball, that is no secret. We wanted to help push this project off the ground, and we did so in two ways: online, and as a sponsor.
A content calendar for social media
A new club has to be seen. We helped Rembert Beach set up a content calendar for social media: what gets posted when, on which channel and in which style, from the training sessions and tournaments to the results of the club's own teams. So the volunteers have a plan to fall back on instead of having to think up every week what to post.
The whole website, to be on the map online too
We delivered the whole website: the design in Figma, the build in Webflow with a CMS, the photography and video of the event and the search engine optimisation. The club changes text, training sessions, teams and news itself.
The site is built to be fully accessible, with an accessibility statement to go with it, so everyone can read and use it. It tells the club's history on a timeline, introduces the board and the coaches, and shows the teams with their players.
Sign-ups and packages, streamlined
The site streamlines sign-ups. Anyone who wants to play picks a package: the beach volleyball school for young starters, fun beach and competition beach for the youth, fun beach and Seniors XL for adults. Every package stands side by side with its price and what it includes, the training schedule per day alongside. After the form, a payment request follows at once.
For tournaments the path is laid out too: a step-by-step guide to request a beach registration number, needed for the official tournaments of the Belgian Beachvolley Championship, and a tournament calendar with sign-up.
From four courts to a Belgian Beach Tour leg
Today Rembert Beach counts more than 150 members, four beach courts, more than 20 hours of training a week and six certified coaches. In 2025 the centre court got stands and advertising boards, and the club was the first in Flanders to organise a Prince & Princess of the Court for U16.
Since this year Rembert Beach is also an official organiser of a leg of the Belgian Beach Tour, with one star. Next year the club wants two.

Big names in the sand
To grow its name, Rembert Beach backs sponsorship projects for well-known teams and coaches. Big names in Belgian beach volleyball are tied to the club that way, such as Janne Devos, Simone Vervloet and Lente Thant. Their presence on the courts and in the tournaments gives the youth someone to look up to, and the club a face to the outside.
Ace as a sponsor, in kind and in money
Ace sponsors Rembert Beach not only with work but also financially, in return for visibility: boards along the courts, and as the exclusive sponsor of the Belgian Beach Tour leg. Every volunteer at the tournament got a T-shirt with Ace as the main sponsor on it.
So we are not only behind the website, but also at the edge of the court. For a club that runs on parents and volunteers, that is where the difference is made.
